Is it up to politicians to save us?

Green Alliance hosted a highly entertaining and thought provoking debate at our summer reception 2007 on 10 July, held at the Royal College of Physicians, Regents Park. Our invited audience of leading environmentalists, top business people and senior government figures, debated the question 'Is it up to politicians to save us?'. Arguments ranged from whether politics could deliver the speed of innovation required to the power of the message behind buying organic pyjamas. The weather held out for guests to enjoy a garden party after the debate with organic canapés and wine.
