This joint report by Green Alliance and the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR)identifies how far England's new regional institutions have been able to start implementing their role in the promotion of sustainable development. Although it is too early to say regionalism in its current form is good or bad for sustainability the report draws three sets of conclusions for what needs to happen, at national and regional level, for the potential to be realised.
